How often do you feel stuck in your role and unclear on how to accelerate your career?

Because sometimes looking for a job can feel like a job and itself. It can also feel like sometimes when you are in sales, and you're being discouraged by your quota, you feel like you're always finishing in the middle of the pack. Or maybe the competitors are starting to intrude on your business and that can be very discouraging and frustrating.

So there's a couple of different areas that a career coach can really support you in achieving your career goals. So you let's say for example, you pursue a promotion and you get passed over because of maybe a lack of leadership experience, or you spent hours applying to jobs online and crickets.

This is especially frustrating because it's very time consuming to apply to jobs online. And one of the most discouraging statistics that you've probably heard me say before is most online application postings receive about 250 resumes. So 75% of these resumes aren't even viewed by human eyes. So knowing what specifically font formatting, layout, SEO keywords to beat that tracking system is essential.

Or let's say you go through the lengthy interview process, and you don't get a job, that can be extremely frustrating. Or maybe you're in a position where you want to max out your comp. plan, you want to earn President's Club and be that top performer, but you don't want to sacrifice your personal life and you still want balance in your life.

So I want to ask you is, how often have you given up on yourself? You may think you can't achieve that goal, whether it's get promoted, find a new job, or get better balance in your life or increase your income earnings through sales. Maybe you either miss out on quota or frequently finish middle of the pack.

You're worth more than you give yourself credit for.

So take a minute and consider these questions:

  • What if you could change the way you feel about yourself for good, and transform all of your self doubt, into confidence, courage and motivation?

  • What if you were crystal clear on where you want to take your career and how to get there?

  • How would you feel if you had someone guiding you towards the strategies that work and a wave from the ones that don't?

  • How would your success rate change if you had someone to make sure you got back up when you feel down and you're constantly kept learning and adapting and to some of these challenges?

So that feeling of confidence and clarity and momentum and support. That's exactly what a career coach is for.

We spend 1/3 of our life working, it's important to make sure that it's filling up your cup and your wallet. The worst thing you could do is to stay where you are unfulfilled, but unable to take action because you don't know where to start, or to be in a position where you're constantly being discouraged and frustrated by your quota.

Then what happens is you start to finish middle of the pack and you are leaving money on the table. So when you're looking to get promoted, when you're in a process of finding a new job, you're launching a business or you want to max out your compensation plan, it's easy to feel stuck. When you have that negative self talk, you're unclear and unsure on the best actions to take and you give up on yourself.

So an abundant career really starts with four key areas, which is your mindset, your clarity, strategy and resiliency.

How do you create an abundant career?

#1 Mindset

When I say mindset, here's where a career coach can set you up for success. A career coach helps you identify and eliminate your negative self talk. Sometimes it starts with just having the awareness of some of the things that you're telling yourself. With this your potential be becomes limitless and confident goes through the roof, a vital element to building a thriving career. You've probably heard me say this before that when you build your confidence, it can create a ripple effect, a positive ripple effect in all areas of your life.

#2 Clarity

So a career coach is there to help you understand what a thriving career really means for you, and to map it out into a clear roadmap. Gaining clarity as to do you want to stay in the role that you're ads? Do you want to be a people leader? Do you not want to be a people leader? How do you navigate through the politics in the corporate ladder, and putting together a plan to set you up for success and accelerating your career.

#3 Strategy

Being able to be able to break down your roadmap into specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound goals, so that you approach your career strategically. Do you have a plan that can set you up for success? What does that look like for you?

#4 Resiliency

A career coach is there to make sure you get back up when you're feeling down over and over and over again. Studies have shown that when you have an accountability partner, you're 60% more likely to achieve your goals. Your ability to never give up on yourself and keep adapting to change is directly related to your success. When you're working with a career coach, they can help you and identify in working with you with your mindset, your clarity, strategy and resiliency to set you up for success in long term career goals. So what happens is, you get to say β€œhello” to feeling empowered and fulfilled, energized and abundant, and start saying β€œgoodbye” to feeling stuck, undervalued, frustrated and discouraged. A career coach ultimately helps you and this is where I really partner with my clients to turn your biggest challenges into your greatest strength and your superpower and having purpose and being fulfilled. As a career coach, some of the things I do to set my clients up for success, whether it's through one on one coaching or corporate workshops, or even keynote speaking, is we go through things like sales performance, job search strategy, personal branding, interview skills, compensation, negotiation, and business coaching, leadership development.

I've had a lot of clients who have achieved success, where they've maxed out their comp plan for the first time, they're trending towards President's trip, or they've gotten a new job. Where they had been in situations where they were looking for a job for six months, and they were really feeling discouraged, then they were able to get a new job within a month of working with each other. If you look at some of the testimonials on my LinkedIn profile, one of my clients said for the first time, recruiters are reaching out to her.

Then I offer career development, so whether it's one on one, or companies that bring me in and we will build out career development programs from scratch, there's some companies that don't even have career development programs and leadership development programs. So we will build out right from the grassroots from the very beginning, all the way to the end. Also, I will be leading the workshops and speaking engagements.

So I invite you to look into a career coach to support you in gaining clarity and feeling like you are empowered with the tools to achieve your success.
